ABOUT

US

We are a small family breeder registered in ASFE (FIFE) number 2312, and in C.F.M. (WCF) number 646. Our AFFIX in both associations is RAUL BUHO and we are specialized in Abyssinian with the coat colours ruddy and blue.

We have several Abyssinian cats and cats that live at our home and share our day-to-day life. All the affection we transmit to each and every of our “littluns”, later transforms into kindness and personality.

On their own, the Abyssinian as a breed already is an exceptionally affectionate animal. And this trait is accentuated when reared in a family-type setting.

Why Abyssinians? I couldn’t say for sure why I fell in love with this breed. So let’s start at the beginning: I was 16 years old and I wanted a cat… Looking up ‘cats’ in an old encyclopedia I saw a photo of an Abyssinian. But my mother wasn’t amused by the idea - nor by the fact that I had saved up money – so, in the end, there was no cat!

More than 30 years passed, and one November day, I suddenly remembered that moment. I started to research again, and from then on, my love for this breed has never stopped growing. My first kitten was ABY, the prettiest and most affectionate little thing you can possibly imagine. Unfortunately, an accident took her nine little lives away much too early. But I was already hooked and there came NICO – the choice of name was no coincidence: my idea was to stop smoking and enlarging my little family with the money saved. And thus after Nico, Tina came. (I’ll never forget that thanks to Nico and Tina, I got over my nicotine addiction). And after them, many others came into my life…

Aby, Nico and Tina were only the beginning of a story that continues to excite me. They say that Abyssinians are more dogs than cats – but for the barking!

We are located in Valencia, and you can come to see our home to get a feel of the setting and atmosphere in which we breed our ‘littluns’. The kittens are available from the age of 12 weeks onwards – which is the only way their mum can rear them adequately. When you get them, all the kittens have received their trivalent vaccinations twice, their leukemia vaccination and de-worm treatment. They also have their microchips implanted and come with their European passport and their pedigree is in process.
